This project exemplify the use of Calander , Switch widgets and Date Variable. I would like to have help from members in respect of how to make the Calander select the System Date automatically , when the project is opened.

Thank you very much for solving my problem of auto selection of current day in the
calendar widget. I found this feature in most of Money Track Apps.
One more question, I would like to ask you. In calendar widget, suppose I want to select the very past date say , 15th August 1980, is there any way to select year first, Month next, lastly click on date.
I implemented your solution in my project, It is working very nice.
