Camera info.plist

Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage

We noticed that your app requests the user’s consent to access the camera, but doesn’t sufficiently explain the use of the camera in the purpose string.

To help users make informed decisions about how their data is used, all permission request alerts need to specify how your app will use the requested information.

Next Steps

Please revise the relevant purpose string in your app’s Info.plist file to specify why your app needs access to the user’s camera. Make sure the purpose string includes an example of how the user’s data will be used.

You can modify your app’s Info.plist file using the property list editor in Xcode.

Please see attached screenshot for details.

Help me please!

How can I revise the relevant purpose string in your app’s Info.plist file to indicate why your application needs access to the user’s camera?

You can change the default message in the project settings:

Step 1.

Step 2.

If the field is missing in the project settings, add the following action to the project and then upload the project to the server:

Thank you so much!
Everything is working!

Hi, we face the same problem. We are unable to see the images in the solution.

  1. Appreciate if you can upload the images again.
  2. May we know why the camera access request does not happen to our other apps and when we were testing the app in TestFlight?

Thank you!

Hello
Add a camera picker as in the screen
it should work
