Hi
I’m suppose I’m trying to find out if the application produces runtime versions of the presentation that can be distributed?
You can export the project as standalone executable file. It may be launched without installing the Editor or other libraries.
Please see this manual:
https://help.promultitouch.com/display/PROM/Export+presentation
If exe’s are blocked is there any other runtime ‘run’ options
Sorry all the questions.
Which OS, Windows? Why blocked exe file?
Win 7. Because it a govt educational teaching faculties. Exe are blocked, is quite common.
Are there any other run options - like an installed player then a run application?
Is there any other run option in the latest version 1.4 ?
- Install the ProMultitouch Editor.
- Right-click on any project file *.pma.
- Select “Open with…”
- Select the ProMultitouchPlayer.exe in the folder with the installed program.
Now the *.pma files are always opened in the player.
hi guys,
I’m not talking about running the applications - I’m talking about how do I distribute the standalone runtime presentation if all the machines have the exe blocked.
Perhaps I misunderstood - I’ll download and test - there is no HTML5 (other) style of
output is there? Is there any plans to have an output other than an exe?
The proposed method allows you to run the presentation. Not an editor.
For example to open the .ppt or .pdf documents you need the PowerPoint.exe or Acrobat Reader.exe installed beforehand.
Maybe I misunderstood you. Can you give an example using other software?
HTML5 is not planned. iOS and Android in the next month.
